The Monique Lhuillier flagship salon relocated to serene and fashionable Melrose Place.
The new boutique sits in a prime location on the corner of Melrose Place and La Cienega Boulevard. The retail space is designed to be simultaneously glamorous and luxurious. The space exudes warmth in inviting shades of taupe and grey.
David Montalba, of Montalba Architects, Inc., constructed the space which includes vast fitting rooms and a sprawling showroom with high ceilings and towering windows. The boutique features a palette of smoke glass, dark ash wood, grey limestone, and brushed stainless steel. Two primary spaces define the boutique: a long gallery beneath a central sculpted skylight; and a large salon, with freestanding patterned translucent wall panels.
The residential feel of the interiors, created by Jennie Abbott Interior Design, is comprised of a combination of taupe hand-glazed and embossed lizard wrapping the walls, large volumes of warm ash paneling, and a soft hued grey natural stone. This palette is mixed with smoky cut crystal chandeliers, mohair, shagrin, large pieces of deep taupe quartz, and luxurious fabrics throughout.
The overall affect is a tranquil and luxurious environment, welcoming customers to experience Monique Lhuillier's bridal, ready-to-wear and tabletop collections.
