Prestigious Ready to Wear and Bridal Designer, Monique Lhuillier, is seeking an entry-level Ecommerce/Retail Assistant based onsite at our Los Angeles Home Office. This role will report to the Ecommerce Project Manager and the Director of Retail and be a support extension for our Flagship Boutiques and Ecommerce site.
We are looking for a rockstar with Shopify experience to deliver on customer experience objectives, optimize sales, help navigate cross-functional efforts and grow with the team.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations and functionality of moniquelhuillier.com
- Graciously handle customer sales and support; answering customer inquiries over email, live chat and phone
- Process daily sales orders and working closely with our retail teams for inventory fulfillment
- Maintain effective merchandising of product throughout the site to achieve demand targets and improve the customer experience
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and resolve potential issues before they happen
- Assist with the execution of cross-category campaigns and events by partnering with licensing and retail
- Work closely with the retail buys to determine product selection and shots needed to support online merchandising features such as home pages, landing pages, and special projects
- Assist coordination of in-house photo shoots for all product availability and needs on the site
- Create detailed product descriptions and maintain spreadsheets with product information such as style numbers, skus, descriptions and status
- Maintaining inventory accuracy across multiple platforms
- In-depth understanding of Monique Lhuillier product offerings and knowledge of the product fully in order to convey the information to potential and existing client base
- Create seasonal store buy orders with accuracy for our 3 Flagship Boutiques
- Maintain monthly & quarterly inventory, sales and expense reports for both ecommerce and our Flagship Boutiques
- Effectively keep track of pending orders needed to ship to stores and coordinate with shipping department and production team for updates

Supporting the stores with coordinating samples, swatch requests, creating purchase orders, maintaining logs, supplies, etc.
Skills and Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience using Shopify Plus
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills; written and oral communication
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and possess basic accounting principles
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time with accuracy and timeliness
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite with a general ability performing basic to intermediate Photoshop tasks
- Familiar with Slack, Dropbox and Google Drive is a bonus
- Hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm with some availability for overtime as needed
- Must have reliable transportation
