Operations Manager- New York
Key Responsibilities
Oversees execution of tasks for daily store operations and support functions, such as:
- Inbound merchandise / supply receiving
- Outbound customer merchandise presentation, store to store transfers and all aspects of shipping and tracking
- Set standards for shipping etiquette and garment quality control
- Supports online sales with accurate and timely order fulfillment
- Supports all new merchandise tagging, selling floor representation, and back of house organization
- Manages store supply budgets and inventory control, in order to optimize profitability
- Provides support maintenance of all mechanical, technological and operating systems
- Collaborates effectively with General Manager, Alterations Manager and Sales Team to provide high level of support in achievement of selling and customer service objectives
- Trains and develops support roles to provide a high level of sales and operational support to ensure the overall best store experience
- Responsible for overseeing interior and exterior appearance issues and formulating requests for repairs
- Acts as key member of store leadership team and partners with General Manager and Alterations Manager to provide support for their objectives
- Trains, coaches and enforces all procedures and processes related to inventory movement and operational functionalities
- Leads by example as a role model by establishing and adhering to high ethical standards and company procedures while ensuring understanding from all team members
- Creates a gracious and welcoming environment for internal and external customers as well as other partners
- Maintains top level customer service standards when assisting customers and helping the sales staff meet customers’ demands
- Liaison between the Flagship Staff and Alterations Department; Manage fitting schedule and work together with the Alterations Manager to ensure customer service excellence and product standards are upheld
- Ensure the maintenance of inventory accuracy; Resolve and report discrepancies in a timely manner; Responsible for Quarterly Physical Inventory all facets
- Responsible for completion of daily and monthly reporting in a timely and accurate fashion
- Maintain and control all status requests and shipping schedule for customer orders needed in to uphold client expectations and the Alterations Schedule
- Responsible to be on call and available for any unplanned after hour situations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- 5+ years of operational experience in Luxury Retail or Bridal
- Proven track record achieving results
- Excellent organization and administration skills are required,
- Advanced Microsoft office & computer skills, especially Excel is required
- Experience in NetSuite, Bridal Live or Slack a plus
- Outstanding oral and written communication
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- This position requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
